Giving students the task to research areas during a certain time period allows them to explore that area's culture and the affects the current lessons have on those cultures. </p>]]></description>

Base the problems around objects or situations that other cultures have and then students can have something interesting to learn about other than math. Translating tools and coworkers who speak other languages can help and some students can help in this as well. Having another language on the paper helps parents understand and stops any frustration or anxiety that may come with the inability to read English. </p>]]></description>
