Billy starts of by seeing a couple of dogs beating up another dog. It turns out that it is a hound, so he walks over there and made the dogs go away and saves the dog. The characters are Billy, Dad, Mom, Grandpa, and the two dogs. In chapter 2 it said that he wanted two dogs. The dogs he wants are hounds but his dad said he cant have hounds because they are hunting dogs and that you need a gun to hunt. Then he started to save money by taking the money and other stuff from the fisherman and sold it. He needed 50 dollars for two hounds. for 2 years he has already has 50 dollars.
