In lines 13-16 on page 161 the Nurse becomes very sad after discovering Juliet. I think Juliet should’ve tried to get herself exiled since she wanted to be with Romeo so badly.

I thought this because this can hurt others and can cause them to feel very bad emotionally and then that could also lead to physical pain. We can see his on page 161, lines 15-30. We can see how much Juliet's "death" affected them and how sad the ones who cared about her became.

I think Friar Lawrence's plan is awful because he doesn’t realize how it will effect Juliet’s family. Once they saw her and thought she was dead they all started mourning. Juliet’s mom was willing to take her own life so that she could join her daughter in heaven. (IV. v. 19-21) It says “O me, O me, my child, my only life! Revise, look up, or I will die with thee. Help, help! Call help.” A better plan would’ve been to go to her parents and plead with them to let her marry Romeo instead of Paris.

I think that his plan could be two things. I think it could work but there are also a lot of ways that things could go wrong and its too risky. I think he just went with the first thing that came to mind without thinking about all the different things that have to go into it to actually make it work. Here is a quote that explains one of the risks of this plan, “how if, when i am laid into the tomb, i was before the time that Romeo come to redeem me.”IV.iii.30-32. There are too many complications that could and probably would happen with this plan that the friar came up with and it is not a good plan

I personally think Friar Lawrence of poisoned Juliet so that she wouldn’t have to pick a love and be under ones control and demands to pick who they want her to marry, so yes I think his plan is bad. Friar Lawrence poisons Juliet so then Romeo will eventually find out and die to be with his love, since they could not be together alive they will be together in the afterlife. A better plan would’ve been have Romeo and Juliet married and run away to somewhere else where they can live their lives happily. “ what if it be a poison which the friar subtly hath ministered to have me dead, lest in this marriage he should be dishonored, because he married me to before to Romeo ? ” this is just causing more problems with everyone and will result back to friar Lawrence but probably let Romeo be the hero and have the 2 families to come together.

He is being somewhat impulsive, which could lead to a bad outcome. He isn’t thinking of how bad it could effect Juliet and her family. His plan will not have a good effect and is very risky. He could’ve gone about the situation in many different ways, but he decided to do this. This wont end very well.

I Friar Lawrence’s plan was not a good one. This plan was made to fool everyone into thinking that Juliet was dead, but he and Juliet did not think about the grief they caused to her family. In lines 64-65 on pg. 163, Capulet says, “Dead art thou. Alack, my child is dead, And with my child my joys are buried.” This example shows Capulet’s remorse towards Juliet’s death. A better plan would not have included faking Juliet’s death.

I think Friar Lawrence’s plan is genius and bad. The plan is is genius because Juliet gets to avoid marrying Paris by faking dead, but bad because every thinks Juliet is dead besides Friar Lawrence. A quote that explains why the plan is genius is Act 4 scene 3 lines 14-20 saying,” Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again...My dismal scene I needs must act alone. Come, vial.” This quote explains why the plan is genius because some day she will wake up from the dead. A quote that explains why the plan was bad os Act 4 scene 5 lines 23-24 saying, She’s dead, decreased, she’s dead, alack the day! Alack the day, she’s dead, she’s dead, she’s dead. These lines explain why the plan was bad because everyone thinks Juliet is dead.

I Believe that Friar Lawrence can come up with a different plan than fooling everyone into thinking Juliet is dead. In act 3 scene 5 page 161 lines 22-24 couplet says “For shame, bring Juliet forth, her lord is come.” Then the nurse saids “shes dead deceased, she’s dead, a lack the day!” This shows everyone finding out Juliet is dead.

It would’ve been better to notify romeo first when they were thinking out the plan so he would know ahead of time. In lines 77-78 of scene 5 Friar Lawrence says, “She’s no well married that lives married long, But she’s best married that dies married young”. This shows how the marriage that was supposed to go doesn’t happen anymore but will soon cause chaos later when they find out it was fake.

I think that Friar Lawrence's plan wasn’t the best because he assumed that the plan wouldn’t fail. Lawrence had unrealistically thought that nothing would happen when Romeo would find Juliet “dead” and Capulet’s feelings for what he would see happen to his daughter. Capulet says “ O child! O child! My soul and not my child! Dead art thou! Alack, my child is dead, and with my child my joys are buried.” ( Act 4 sc. 5 lines 67-70). This is an example of the deep sorry that Capulet felt regarding his daughter’s death. Lawrence’s plan did not take into account the effects on the individuals it would impact.
