I see cinema as an art form, however, one that has been overlooked or dumbed down over the past few years (Looking at you America). Foreign films, especially French, is where my heart's at.
Even though I would like to make films as a career, I'm more interested in the background of cinema (History, culture, theory etc). Some of my favourite directors started as critics, so a degree in a practical course isn't exactly necessary to make films either.
Learning about film is a love of mine, this course covers everything I look for in one.
