Turtles in the Dry Tortugas, specifically loggerheads, tend to eat meat. They eat shell fish such as horseshoe crabs, clams, etc. They eat these hard-shelled creatures because they have extremely strong jaws, but no teeth. Their beaks can easily crush the shells. Their environment is living underwater which is very hot, and they can eat lobsters and crustaceans. They live in an aquatic environment and can lay their eggs and sleep on their nest just like birds do.
