He then became a lecturer and used the fees to aid and use to help runaway slaves. Fredrick also wrote an autobiography describing the conditions of a slave, and lectured against slavery. William Lloyd was one of the people who helped found the American Anti-Slavery Society, and blamed anyone who tolerated slavery. Criticizing slavery because it was bad for white who could not afford slaves. He also believed that not only African Americans should be slaves, but everyone should.
