Not only is Frances speaking about inclusion a feminist praxis, but she also challenged slacktivism. She emphasized that she doesn't just want everyone to talk about it at the after party, she wanted them to take action. Jessica Chastain used her privilege as a white woman to stand up and get equal pay for her costar, Octavia Spencer. She used her knowledge and beliefs on intersectionality and put them into action. Hopefully her actions inspired other people, especially those of privilege, to take similar actions. Take back the night is an anti-violence foundation that has the goal of creating safe communities and ending sexual assault and domestic violence. The women’s march is a worldwide protest that advocates for human rights. Both movements bring people together to take action and bring awareness to the matters.
