Paige’s body awareness is developing beautifully. She is able to hold her own bottle while drinking her milk and can confidently put her dummy in her mouth. Paige can sit steadily on her own, although she sometimes gets so excited that she topples over, but she quickly rolls onto her tummy again with determination. She loves reaching out for toys nearby, showing growing strength and coordination. Paige is also beginning to move into an attempted crawling position, showing great progress in her physical development. Well done, Paige!

Fine Motor (Art):

Paige’s fine motor development is progressing well. She enjoys exploring new textures and experiences, especially during mealtimes when she loves eating spaghetti and trying to feed herself. Paige also loves playing with small plastic blocks, using her hands to pick them up and explore their shapes. She enjoys the challenge of putting big pom-poms into a plastic container, showing good hand-eye coordination and growing control of her finger movements.

Gross Motor (Music and Rhythm):

Paige absolutely loves music time, especially when Anna sings during morning ring. She gets so excited and happily shakes her rattle along to the rhythm. Paige also attempts to clap her hands together and joyfully moves her body to the music, showing great enthusiasm and enjoyment. Her love for music and movement reflects her growing sense of rhythm and coordination.

Paige’s visual development is progressing very well. She can follow bright and colourful toys with her eyes from left to right, showing strong focus and tracking skills. Paige absolutely loves bubble play — she becomes very engaged as she watches the bubbles float through the air and eagerly reaches out to pop them. Her curiosity and excitement during these activities demonstrate her growing visual awareness and hand-eye coordination.

Auditory Development:

Paige’s auditory development is progressing beautifully. When a shaker is played next to her ears, she quickly turns her head and follows the direction of the sound with interest. She enjoys listening to different sounds and responds with curiosity and excitement, showing good awareness and growing listening skills.

Paige is comfortable and happy in her class environment. She is a curious little girl who loves observing what her friends are doing and will often try to reach them, especially when they are sitting nearby in their high chairs. Paige shares a very special bond with Anna and always gets excited when it’s time for her relaxing body massages. She is a friendly child who loves to smile and make eye contact, often sharing the sweetest smiles from across the classroom. Paige’s emotions are easy to read; she becomes a bit tearful when she is tired or really wants her milk, but she quickly settles once her needs are met.
