In the text it states “I remember looking back and seeing him sitting up in the wagon happy as can be, like he’s really enjoying the ride and not embarrassed to have me pulling him around.” This is acceptance because Freak accepted Max with no second thoughts about his intelligence or size.

This shows acceptance because, Freak says “cool. You live down here all by yourself?” Freak isn’t criticizing Max’s room, as max said, it smells and has cheap things, so it’s not very interesting. Max doesn’t have any technology, as tech is freaks favorite thing, and Freak is problematic used to a cleaner room.
