    Exposition
    The story is set in the Tran dynasty era, and it follows a young man named TuThuc, who becomes a district mandarin after winning contests organized by the king. He's portrayed as someone who values freedom, dislikes strict rules, enjoys drinking, poetry, and sightseeing. The story's primary setting is a temple garden with peonies that bloom every January, where a Buddhist festival takes place.

    Rising Action
    TuThuc witnesses a girl being scolded and tied up by monks for picking a flower. He intervenes and throws his shirt at the monks, prompting them to release the girl. He feels a deep connection with GiangHuong and sets off on a journey to find her. TuThuc's search leads him to a mysterious island with a cave, TuThuc Cave, which serves as a gateway to Wonderland

    Climax
    In Wonderland, TuThuc meets a royal woman who reveals that GiangHuong is a fairy and takes him to meet her. TuThuc is overjoyed to find GiangHuong, and they confess their love for each other. The royal woman proposes that they marry and live in Wonderland.

    Falling Action
    TuThuc and GiangHuong's wedding is celebrated by fairies in Wonderland. They live together in happiness, but TuThuc's longing for his family and his hometown persists. GiangHuong advises him against leaving Wonderland, as crossing between the realms could have dire consequences.

    Denouement
    Despite GiangHuong’s warnings, TuThuc’s homesickness grows stronger. TuThuc arrives in his hometown, only to discover that centuries have passed and his family’s legacy has faded into history. He realizes the harsh truth that he cannot truly return to his original life. TuThuc searches for the entrance to the Wonderland once more, but is unable to find it. The story ends on a melancholic state, leaving his fate and whether he reunites with GiangHuong remains ambiguous.
