SNCC started dressing down when talking to other people who are in a lower class and validated their experience. They shook hands with sharecroppers and listened to what they had to say. I realized the value in collaborating with everyone, especially those who may not have the resources to fight their oppressor. There was also the silencing of a Black woman in the process.
