동사로는 궁금해하다,의아해하다 등의 의미가 있다.

내 생각에는 우리 주변의 모든 것들이 wonder인것 같다.

지금 우리가 학교에서 공부하는 것도, 맛있는 밥을 먹을 수 있는 것도 모두 wonder, 기적인 것 같다. 왜냐하면 우리와 다르게 좋지 않은 환경에서 힘들게 살아가는 사람도 있는데, 우리가 이렇게 편하게 사로 있는 것이 wonder인 것 같다.

비슷한 점: 어기가 처음에 외모에 대한 자신감이 없다가 친구들을 사귀면서 자신을 이해했듯이 나도 처음에는 자신감이 없었다. 그러다 나도 친구들 덕분에 자신감이 조금이나마 생겼다.

느낀점: 어기를 보고 사람의 전부는 외모가 아니라 성격이라는것을 다시한번 느꼈다. 그리고 어기가 자신이 무시당해도 남은 무시를 안하는것이 멋있어 보였다. 나도 이 책을 읽기 전에는 외모로 판단하는 경향이 아예 없진 않았는데 과거의 날 좀 되돌아볼 수 있었어서 좋았다.

(원더를 읽고 난 후) 지금:우리와 비슷하건 다르건 모든 사람의 다름을 이해하고 존중할 수 있음

반성하는 점: 이해하려고 노력조차 안 해봤다. 그리고 무시했기에 그 사람들에게 상처를 줬기에 그 점을 반성하겠다.

The most memorable thing that you did was apologizing to August. After you made a mistake, talking behind August’s back with your friends, you realized it was your fault that made August disappointed and apologized it. That was a meaningful, caring, and difficult thing to do. Sometimes it’s easy to say any words, but hard to say sorry with all your heart, so I really respect your behavior.

겉 모습만 보고 판단하지 마라.

Reason:Aggie is ugly but, he is good at science and he is friendly.

어기는 못생겼지만, 과학을 잘하고, 친절하다.

We act friendly to friend, but we feel uncomfortable to an unfamiliar friend.

Our parents and sister take care of us so much that sometime it’s troublesome.

Our friends make us so happy by playing together. Also, they always be by my side like Jack.

"원더"를 읽고 나는 내가 다른 사람들의 외모나 차이를 제대로 이해하지 못했다는 걸 알게 되었다. 오기처럼, 나는 차이가 특별하다고 생각하고 그 차이를 받아들이지 못했었다. 하지만 오기가 겪은 고통을 보며, 외모나 차이로 사람을 판단하는 게 얼마나 잘못된 일인지 깨달았다. 이제 나는 다른 사람들의 차이를 존중하고, 그들의 감정을 더 배려해야겠다고 다짐했다. 나도 오기처럼 더 많이 웃고, 더 이해하려는 노력을 할 것이다.

다른 사람을 속으로 무시하고 욕했던 것이다.

어기의 입장이 되어 보니 그걸 그 사람이 알고 있다면 참 속상하겠다는 생각을 했다. 앞으로 다른 사람을 속으로도 무시하고 욕하지 않도록 노력하겠다.

반성하는 점:책을 읽을 때 조금 더 집중해서 읽고, 이해하려고 노력하면 더 좋았을 것 같다

이유는 어기가 왕따를 당해도 열심히 살아서 나중엔 친구가 많고

행운이 많아진다
