Also another main reason I do not like Jazz music, is because it makes me want to go to sleep. Growing In small towns throughout the state of Texas, Jazz music was not something I grew up listening to. My elementary teacher introduce me to Jazz when I was in 5th grade, and that is when I figured out that type of music was not for me. When listening to the Jazz music to help write the music media report, I listen to a song Take Me to the Alley by Gregory Porter and the song was very slow and calm throughout. The second song was also by the same artist but was called Holding On. The artist of the two songs was from the 21st century, therefore he kind can get an understanding of what people like within their music today.
