However, their roles go more in depth than those categories. School counselors are there for career and college readiness support for students, and also serve as community outreach counselors ensuring all resources are up-to-date and accessible to all whom need them. They are mentors who foster the strengths their students possess to then coach them on how to supersede challenges faced as opportunities for character growth.
