Always let the elderly or the eldest enter the room and be seated before yourself. It is rude to refuse a drink, so if you must you have to give a convincing excuse such as a health reason. You should take a piece of bread with you when you get a drink. It is rude to begin eating if everyone else has not been served yet. You may begin after your host invites you to start.Bread is often eaten, but without butter. Wine is only drunk with desserts. Your hands must be visible while eating and is is common to rest your wrists on the table. Always pass food to the left.
