1. Become a translator: do not need to become a professional translator for improve your academic writing. Try to translating your favourite short story, a page of your favourite books into your native language. We can pay attention to the structure of the story, new word choices and the way that author uses language transitions. We can then apply these discovery when writing for our school homework.

2. Analyse dissertations in your field: We will probably need to read a number of research papers, do not just try to skim them for information.When a topic interests us, read it thorough to see how the author guides us through their own writing.

3. Don’t ignore our college writing centre: Working one on one with a writing tutor brings us more helpful advice about academic writing than us might imagine. If we can’t manage our time enough to visit your campus writing centre before every assignment, try to make regular appointments that fit your schedule.
