Personally, i agree that fashion magazines destroys people's self-esteem.
Fashion magazines' models are what society sees as "perfect". Magazines like this influences the reader to think that these models have the "ideal" body. We are either too fat, too skinny, too tall or too short, never the right size.
In fact, the pictures that are in the magazines have gone through the process of editing in order for the models to look "perfect". These magazines shows society the bodies that never truly existed. This caused most readers to feel bad and ashamed of their own body, not knowing that the "ideal" body they look up to is all a lie, an illusion.

Beauty standards from fashion magazines is what made people hate their own body. Not only that, it is also possible to start girl hate. Girls with "perfect" body are sometimes not ashamed to label others that are not as "ideal"-looking as them, or even with much more harsh words. People who consider their body as not "ideal" will only bring negative impact to their own life.

Casanova, a romantic movie based on the life of Giacomo Casanova which took place in Venice, Italy in the year 1753. Produced by Betsy Beers Mark Gordon, directed by Lasse Hallstorm and released on December 25, 2005 in USA.
The movie tells about the adventure of Giacomo Casanova. A womanizer and seducer who was put on trial of violating girls and deviate the norms and laws that exist by bishop Pucci from the Catholic Church (Penyimpangan). He then got off the hook and was able to stay in the city but under one condition, which was to marry a woman and stay faithful to her. Casanova layed his eyes to the beautiful Victoria. But Casanova was not the only guy who had eyes on her, Giovanni Bruni was also madly in love with Victoria. Giovanni then challenged Casanova in a duel and Casanova discovers that the one who had been sparring with him was not Giovanni but rather his sister, Francesca Bruni.
As time goes, Casanova found himself slowly fall into love with Francesca. Unfortunately, Francesca didn't seem to be interested in Casanova even a bit. As they get to know each other, Casanova discovers that Francesca was a gifted writer with the pen name "Bernardo Guardi".
Francesca came to a realization that she had feelings for Casanova. However, Francesca was engaged to the hideous King of Genoa, Papprizzio whom she had never met before.
Casanova decided to help the love of his life to get out of the arranged marriage by disguising as Papprizzio and went to Bruni's household to convince that he was Francesca's fiance but stayed silent all this time. Casanova managed to convince both Francesca and her mother. Casanova then asked Francesca to go to the carnival together with him. Eventually Casanova's real identity was revealed and Francesca felt really disappointed.
Came the time when Casanova confessed that he was Bernardo Guardi and was arrested and taken to the judge. During the judgement, Francesca defended Casanova and told the judges that she was the real Bernardo Guardi with the manuscript in hand as evidence. The judges then came to a decision to execute both of them.
During the execution day, Casanova's parents came as cardinals to announce all sentenced to death must be freed to celebrate Pope's birthday. Not long after, the real cardinal came and Casanova's parents were discovered. Francesca and Casanova together with his parents manage to flee but Giovanni, Victoria, Victoria's father and Lupo stayed behind. Giovanni took Casanova's place as the next "Casanova" and married Victoria, Papprizzio ended up with Francesca's mother and Francesca together with Casanova. They all had a happy ending. And that's the story of Casanova.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EAwh9fz6Xz8xLU5CO-Fnur8wabX3srinsXyfn1vTNN8/edit
