After the assessment 2 prototype, my first priority was testing the PIR sensors working with the servo motors. I had some issues with the PIR sensors, with them either triggering continuously, making the servo turn on and off even with no input, or, adjusting the sensitivity, it wouldn't trigger the servo at all. Seeing this I moved to PIR sensors, which on its own, didn't prove any problem.

Fan
I changed the fan material to greaseproof paper as I was afraid that regualr paper, along with the wire, would be too heavy and slow down the movement of the motor.
Working with 8 seperate elements, I had to use external power outside of the Microbit to run everything. I initially bought a 4 aaa battery housing, however this was too much, so I bought 2, 3 aaa housings which worked.

For the prototype I was running of USB power through the microbit. The sensor is coded to set the motor to 90 degrees (flat) when something is sensed more than 50 centimetres away. If something is sensed within 50 centimetres, the motors are set to 0 degrees (vertical). Only one of the motors work properly. Motors 1 and 4 were constantly triggered and motor 3 turning on and off with no input to the sensor. I'm unsure as to why the others aren't working as the code for each motor, sensor pair is identical. If I had more time, I would definitely take it all apart and put it together in a different layout to see if it is the sensors, connections or Microbit expansion board that are the problem. I know that it isn't the motors that are the issue as testing them by manually changing the code which worked. 

One major problem I found personally with this course, specifically the final 2 assessments, was the amount I had to spend on non course fees. The Griffith College website says that the diploma of design course should cost $50 outside of course fees for drawing supplies primarily for the first trimester, however I spent over $100 on parts for this course alone.
