From the older quartet music to rap music in the 2000's they have some of of love in them. They do, however, change in the early 1900's the songs where romantic and had a meaning that was beautiful. In the mid to late 1900's the sons become a little less beautiful, that could be due to the change in music style through. However, in the early 2000's and even some current day music is just about having a hot girl and getting all the girls, it is not beautiful or feel like a true song. While many rappers and modern day mainstream artists talk about women some talk about their love for money and partying, and even some talk about not needing a girl because you have money. I think people from the early 1900's would have never wrote a song like that.
