Types of interview

According to the website ''Vagas Profissões'' there are several types of interviews, and we will mention 7 of them:

1. Technical job interview
It is one that assesses very specific technical knowledge. “Usually it is conducted by a pair or by a superior of the professional being hired”, says the specialist.

2. Behavioral or competency interview
This is one of the most common types in current selection processes. The objective is to assess the candidate's personality and behavioral skills to see if there is an affinity with the position and the company's culture. Who leads the conversation is usually someone from HR or the immediate manager of the professional who will be hired.

The interviewer mainly asks about the professional's experiences and the way he acted in certain circumstances. “We look at skills through adjustment methods demonstrated in real-life work-day situations,” says Naamisis. “For example, it looks for situations in which the professional can assess a relevant leadership role for this competency in their profile.”

3. Interview with a case study

6. Panel interview
It is designed to evaluate a candidate from various perspectives. In this type of job interview, several evaluators are usually managers who have a relationship with the potential hire – they enter the room and address issues inherent to their specific reality.

7. “Field” interview
It occurs when companies go to universities to interview students who excel in the classroom. This modality is still little used in Brazil.

When we are interviewed we must be cautious with actions and how we are going to talk to the interviewer. Be punctual, take care of your appearance, be confident, honest and above all know how to talk and analyze gestures.

How important is the curriculum?

The resume serves as a first contact with the company. It is the first contact the recruiter has with the candidate, even if the document is received online, or even in person. The curriculum must be well structured, because it is where you will have the necessary information for the candidate's knowledge. In the curriculum it is important to have information of paramount importance, such as:
E-mail;
Complete address;
Date of birth;
Marital status;
Telephone number (usually a landline and a mobile); and
Linkedin social network profile, if you have one.

Professional goal
This field must be clear and objective at the same time. See what area you want to work in the company and don't put any professional goals.

Examples:

Systems Analyst/Programmer/Developer
Receptionist/administrative assistant/administrative assistant
Professional experience
In this field you must list your main professional activities, listing the companies you have worked with and what activity you performed.

Always start from newest to oldest, indicating the company name in front.

School Formation
Just like professional experience, it must be reported.

If you are attending college, it is not necessary to enter high school, as it is a fact that you are in college and have already completed high school.

Focus on technical courses.

Hobbies or Extracurricular Courses
Here you will report the extra courses you have taken, such as professional courses, for example. It is also interesting to mention if you do activities in NGOs, monitoring, lectures or musical activities that you have practiced sports for a long time.

Companies admire people who are dedicated to other things outside the professional environment.
