Thanks to the animals we obtain food and good harvest. The animals they are of great help at the time of planting for example the earthworms, bees, etc. On our island there are birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. The birds that inhabit our country are the mucaro, Puerto Rican parrot, macaw and the guaraguao. In reptiles are very few but still important among them is the puerto Rican boa and the iguana of Mona. Among the amphibians we have the coqui, white lip frog and the sapo concho. Finally the mammals including the manati, musaraña, leaf-nosed bat, mono capuchino and wild cats. Not only do we have animals we also have a great variety of flowers and fruit. Se have a beautiful flowers including this icaquillo-hirtella rugosa, amapola roja, lotus, wedilia trilobata, amapola rosa, orquídeas, amapola blanca and white lotus flower. Our fruits are the grosella, beach grapes, jobo, icaco, pomarrosa, rambutan, papaya, Star fruit and aguacate. Finally I want to introduce our harvest: corn, cotton, potatoes, pigeon peas, beans, pineapples, platano, banana and coffee.
