hello i am Nadia, my type of learning is audio visual, take notes, and i've been teaching for 8 years, i am new to IB school

always try to understand what my students need, try to connect with the students in any way

the challenge : i have to learn something new and in larger area of IB curriculum, and make great game and good class situation for kids

learn new things from IB curriculum and apply it in daily lesson on christian school

I have briefly learned that students can be the subject of learning, who can determine their own learning according to their pace

I think of engaging students to think, to deal, to build, to choose or for anything that involves the learning process, for example in a classroom setting, rules, time, routine.

I honestly can't imagine how to personalize learning for students, because every lesson has certain achievements that are the same. and also, how to create the right boundaries by making students the owners of their learning.

I once had a student who refused to participate in group work. Instead of forcing, we negotiated a solo project where he express his findings

Now I use a format: diagnose their comfort level, select resources matched their zone, choose how to demonstrate mastery

When students make poor choices like picking easiest option, do we respect their agency or intervene for growth?

Traits like risk-taker equip students with the dispositions needed to make independent choices

Both aim to cultivate learners who understand their capabilities and who act on their learning

The profile provide the language to articulate growth and agency provides the opportunities to apply that growth
