It was a wonderful class experience. The thoughts and insights of fellow students helped me have a better understanding of Gospel Principles. The class materials sent earlier before the class helped me prepare and have more insights during the class. Sharing my insights from my studies has helped me realized how I can better apply those principles in our marriage.

As we reviewed the material, we discovered more about ourselves as a couple, and we learned a lot from the experiences and insights of our fellow students. This class helped us remember that if we center our lives on Jesus Christ and the eternal perspective of His Gospel as a couple, we will be blessed with clear direction to stay on the right path.

In our past discussion the concept of an eternal perspective really touched me. It reminded me that our marriage isn’t just about navigating the day to day ups and downs but about building something that will last beyond this life. It helped me realize that even when things are hard, there’s a bigger picture and a higher purpose to our union. The idea that marriage is an eternal journey was both comforting and challenging for me. It’s comforting to know that the hard work we put into our marriage will pay off eternally, but it’s also a reminder that we need to be patient with each other and grow together over time. This class helped me feel more motivated to put effort into our relationship, even when things are difficult, because I know we’re building something eternal. One of the things I appreciated most was hearing from other couples. It felt reassuring to know that others are going through similar things and that we can all learn from each other. There was this sense of community and shared understanding that made me feel supported. I hope we can continue to share and learn from each other as we go forward..

We had a great time attending the first SMR class. It helped us to deal our different attitudes with gospel doctrine and principles and we learned how to make righteous decision despite of our personal views based on the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Awesome class. Me and my wife had a better appreciation of our covenants in the temple and also of each other. We realized that we have to get closer to the Lord individually for us to get closer as a couple. I realized that as I get closer to Jesus Christ, my wife's eternal qualities becomes visible. I appreciate her positive qualities more and become patient with her weaknesses. We also learned that having an eternal perspective in our marriage will ease the burdens and challenges that we face in our marriage.

It was an incredible experience for us. As a newlywed couple, the principles that have been discussed has awakened us for the lapses that we have to work on together. We have realized that sometimes we have neglected those small details that have massive impact in our relationship. We have come to appreciate those simple conversations that lead to making righteous decisions in our life, how we can better align ourselves and our family for what Heavenly Father would want us to achieve and accomplish.

It was a very insightful and fulfilling class. Being with young couples like us, we learned a lot from their own experiences and relate from ours as well. It helped us realize that decision-making does not only involve the two of us but Jesus Christ as well. With this weekly class, we are reminded of the covenants we have made in the temple and how can we continue to fulfill them day by day. We were also cautioned of temptations and worldly things that can shake or ruin our relationship and family. We are grateful for this class and look forward to attending similar classes intended for married couples.
