         <title>Activity D: Lessons from learning Piano</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The analysis of the force and impulse acting on the key by the finger associated to the sound generated is crucial to understand the quality of interpretation of played notes. <br><strong>Method</strong>: we use a special set of pressure sensors applied on two octaves of the keyboard, a professional sound recording system, a video-camera and a PC. Persons who play frequently piano are invited to participate to the experiment. <br><br><strong>The procedure</strong> will be the follow: <br>1) a professional pianist will play a short section of a normal music literature (first 8-12 bars of the Mozart´s Sonata facile KV 545) and this will be recorded with the mentioned system (force-time curves). <br>2) a participant will play the same bars (in the previous days, they will have had time enough to practice with these scores) with his best interpretation and the teacher will give the supervision using the traditional verbal information (VIN). <br>3) the participant again will play the bars according to the VIN. <br>4) the teacher will then use the visual feedback information method (FBIN) based on force parameters obtained by pressure sensors and comparing this with the structure of the professional pianist. <br>5) the participant will play again the bars after the FBIN method. <br>6) Thus, the participant will be able to compare the results obtained with the two methods. <br><strong>Expected results:</strong> improvements are significantly greater using the FBIN method in comparison with the traditional one (VIN).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Activity B: Exploration of the Collective and Social Brain</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Join our <strong>Activity</strong> B and explore new movements and ways of interacting with others in a living group environment. Like <strong>Activity C</strong> this practical experience will be guided by artistic researchers and movement experts. Don't miss this opportunity to engage in a dynamic and creative exploration of collective and social interaction in our first session (Activity B1). We encourage at least ten participants of Activity C to also join Activity B1.<br><br></div><div>The Collective and Social Brain is a concept of, firstly, shared knowledge and problem-solving abilities and, secondly, evolving human systems to manage and navigate the complexity of social interactions.&nbsp;</div><ul><li>What is the axis of homeostasis to communicate with others?&nbsp;</li><li>What are driving behaviors and costs to change human systems that are often too well established, losing the flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing environment? &nbsp;</li></ul><div>Delve into an engaging interactive discussion on the multiple layers related to movement, sensorimotor control, and representation of self and other in the second session (Activity B-2). At the end, we aim to connect our discussions of Activity B-2 and C-2 by a framework of “embodied cognition in the world”.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Activity C: A sensorimotor approach to Prosthetics and haptic interactions in general</title>

Can we&nbsp;<em>learn to embody</em>&nbsp;a prosthesis just as we can learn to truly&nbsp;<em>feel&nbsp;</em>a bicycle as an extension of our body? Delve into the intricate world of prosthetics, where the integration of haptic devices and the human body presents a unique challenge. Engage in an interactive dialogue featuring perspectives from prosthetic users, philosophers, artists, and researchers on sensorimotor control. We promote transdisciplinary research&nbsp;<em>with&nbsp;</em>users, starting from their needs. We aim at defining a&nbsp;<strong>training program for prosthesis users to find ways to</strong>&nbsp;<strong><em>master new sensorimotor invariances</em></strong>&nbsp;(i.e. learning to control and leverage patterns in how sensory information is processed and translated into physical actions across different environments&nbsp;and&nbsp;tasks)&nbsp;<strong>arising from their prosthetic devices by engaging in a creative sensorimotor experience</strong>.</p><p>Beyond prosthetics, we aim to foster a deeper haptic interaction through tools using an innovative sensorimotor approach. Their journey, marked by unique challenges and adaptations, is deeply personal yet universally resonant. It underscores the complex interplay between body and self-perception, highlighting the need for comprehensive support systems and a more inclusive society.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>In the <strong>tandem talk (E1)</strong>, we focus on body image, body perception, and related emotions. The discussion will also include the constructs of mind and emotions and the completed body from a visual and functional perspective.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The<strong> activity E2</strong> is a friendly exchange between amputees and participants. In addition to Maria and Ami, Hans-Jürgen Stein, a board member of the self-helping group for amputees A.G.I.L. e.V., joins the activity. The exchange can be a profound experience, enriching the understanding and perspectives of everyone involved. Such interactions facilitate learning and empathy and challenge preconceptions and stereotypes. Some themes and insights might emerge from these dialogues: everyday challenges and triumphs, accessibility and inclusion, advancements in prosthetics and technology, inspirational stories, and motivation.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>No prior knowledge is required - just come with your curiosity and openness, and join us in exploring new insights from lives with an amputation. :)</p>]]></description>

         <title>Activity F: The freedom of movement opens - for liveliness, opening, deepening and integration</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Would you like to feel how easy it is to quickly unlearn unnecessary patterns of behaviour?<br>Would you like to know how you can physically interrupt thought loops to create peace in your mind?<br><br>The quickest way to unlearn old patterns is to use physical vibration systems.<br>Sneak into a base experience you can immediately use on daily basis for deep embodiment, for energy and for transforming the experience of your difficult issues.<br>Understand why we all lose creativity and intelligence through our collective sitting trauma.<br>Feel and listen to experiences with bodyshaking for chronic ill people for a new approach.</p><p>Our systems suffer from patterns in our bodies that work against movement and maintain familiar forms of movement and structure. These body patterns are determined by collective and personal experiences, e.g. sitting as a cultural trauma.</p><p>Movement, for example vibration, gives us freedom in physical movement. In addition to freedom in the body, there is freedom in the mind/thinking and feeling/sensing. Movement in the form of vibration is the realisation of potential.<br><br>We will work with the following different movement activities: Singing bowl, breathing, singing, laughter, laughter yoga and shaking. These are connected with each other through vibrations on different frequency levels.</p><p>Activities will release tension and reduce stress.&nbsp; More relaxation will flow into your life and you may experience an inner personal freedom.</p><p><strong>Bridging the gap from the too well known NOW through transformation using specific vibration movements into the NEW Unknown</strong></p>]]></description>

         <title>Activity A: Awaken your “Happiness Nerve”!  Polyvagal theory in practice </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Are you suffering from inner restlessness, tension pain, sleep disorders and other stress-related consequences? Then you should get to know your inner switches (Innere Schalter)!<br><br>They are five very simple, harmonious movements. They act like internal switches because they instantly weaken and neutralize the thoughts with which we constantly rush, inhibit, frighten, judge and discourage ourselves.<br>&nbsp;<br>Then all the pressure is released and the processes of the nervous system reach a wonderful harmony in which every person can feel completely at peace with themselves and their life.<br>&nbsp;<br>This state is referred to by neuro-research as "inner coherence" and is now considered the key to health, psychological resilience and a good attitude to life.<br>&nbsp;<br>The five inner switches work because they address a nerve whose importance was only recognized a few years ago by the American neuro-researcher Stephan Porges (Polyvagal).<br>&nbsp;<br>He called this nerve the "ventral vagus nerve". Today it is also known as the “self-healing nerve” (Rosenberg) or the "happiness nerve". Its central importance for health, well-being and performance has become increasingly the focus of relevant discussions in recent years.<br>&nbsp;<br>In these workshops we will practice the switching movements with harmonious music. Sometimes quiet and sometimes wild!!</div>]]></description>
