         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes, salt kills slugs. When salt is poured on a slug, the water inside the slug's cells, which has a higher concentration of water, gets drawn out to balance the salty environment, which has a low concentration of water. Slugs have moist skin, a characteristic of a slug that is essential for living, and when the water is drawn out, it leaves the slug dried up and dehydrated.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The salt poured on the slug's skin has a really low concentration of water, so the water in the slug's cells get drawn out of the cell through the cell membrane to the surface of it's skin to balance the solute and solvent levels. The water in the slug's cells have a higher concentration of water so that's why it gets drawn out. The absence of water in the slug's cells leave the slug dried and dehydrated and eventually it ends up dying.</div>]]></description>
