Because Russia is working with North Korea and the United States is working with South Korea, as well as NATO being a factor, it is a very delicate scenario and if a war were to break out, because of the worlds superpowers being involved, it would be disastrous. We have been a military might in the world for the past century and it is ridiculous to assume that this is considered the greatest threat. What I consider our greatest threat is the questionable integrity of our democratic institution and the prohibition of thought. Within the past decade, our institution has been on the brink of collapse. We have faced a process called asymmetrical polarization, a process in which one of the parties is shifting their view farther to their side at a rapid rate. The polarization has created obsoletion in Congress and a partisan agenda that has drowned out the voices of millions. The legislative body has not been able to compromise their own agendas to create one that is suitable to the people on either aisle. Not only is Congress paralyzed, but our republic has an outdated system of how votes are counted that has suppressed votes from the minority and have misrepresented the American people. The other greatest threat to the United States, is the prohibition of thought.
