You can organise a local Solidarity Project! Here you can find out how.

This funding program requires five active people that apply for the funds and you can receive 500€ per month for a whole year. You can also work together with an organisation (makes things easier) and even apply for extra money for a youth worker as a coach.

If you need inspiration or a "reason" to organise something, you can check out international days / weeks of ... (i.e. Sustainability, Human Rights, etc.).

If you google the day / week, you can also see if there are already campaigns you can become a part of! See i.e. European Waste Reduction Week or Earth Day.

It is also a good idea to google if there are local yearly events in your city / region, for example European Week.

Funding for your personal projects!

You can google "Jugendfonds" + "your region". Jugendfonds are part of the German programme "Demokratie leben". For each federal state and some cities, there is one organisation responsible to administer the funding. You can apply as a group of young people with your idea and get up to 600€. The idea can be i.e. a charity concert, a political event, urban gardening etc. - anything for the community! They also advise you in the application process and are generally really helpful :-)
