         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jesus was angry in this passage because they were selling things in the temple. I think that's what some people these days think about the church. They think it's a joke and doesn't deserve the credit that it deserves. So they question Jesus of how he has authority and he tells them to destroy the temple. Just like us when someone tells us to do something that we think shouldn't have the authority to do it. We question their authority. </div>]]></description>

Nobody at that time would know what that means. Jesus is in that situation where no one can wrap their head around what he's saying. Even the smartest people in the land can't understand him. Sometimes that's how we are in life. We try to explain something that only we understand and everyone looks at us weird. </div>]]></description>

In this verse Jesus gave this man a kick in the butt by saying if you don't stop sinning something worse will happen to you. No one really knows what that worse thing is, but if its Jesus saying it, it must be pretty bad.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Travis you have written some good reflections here.&nbsp; It's encouraging to know that you have such an awesome Dad.&nbsp; Praise God for that.&nbsp; So many Dad's fail their kids by not being around or working too hard.&nbsp; I'm so glad you have a Dad who is involved in your life and takes time to spend with you.&nbsp; I want to be that kind of Dad.&nbsp; Sometimes I work too hard and my kids don't see me enough.&nbsp; This encourages me to be better so thank you for that. &nbsp;<br><br>God intended for parents (Mom and Dad) to be the first example of Him to their children.  How sad that so many families are broken.  </div>]]></description>
