Some facts I learned:

-Children were physically and verbally abused. 
- children were not alowd to speak in their original language, if they did they were beaten
- parents were tricked into sending the kids and others were forced. 
-kids were taught English and forced to speak it
- if they had siblings they would be separated and banned from talking. 
-they converted them to Christianity
