My mom first heard the name in a movie and loved it so much she decided that if she had a baby girl she would name her Dominique. The Polish way to write and say my name is Dominika. That's what my parents call me because our family is Polish. That's the story of my name!

In the Indonesian language (Indonesia is where Bali is located), it holds significance and is often associated with qualities of perfection and virtue; talks about feeling of pressure! (Thanks Mom and Dad! ;) ). It also originates from Sanskrit language so I believe it's pretty well known in South Asian countries. That's your fun fact of the day! ;)
