A women in Fargo N.D was sentenced to 30 years for the neglect of a child. Her neglect resulted in the death of a 1 year old child. The child Meka Ducheneaux died November 2020 from blunt force trauma. Adeleke the caretaker claimed that she had left the child alone in the bathtub and found her unresponsive. The prosecution and defense both agreed on the sentence, that Judge Steven Marquart approved. Adeleke will be eligible for parole after serving her 25 years.
