Tuesday : Based on what you’ve read so far, what do you think might happen next in your book? Write 2-3 sentences about your prediction. Remember to use words like “I think” or “I predict” when sharing your ideas.

Wednesday : What was your favorite part of what you read today? Describe this part in 3-4 sentences. Be sure to explain why you liked it so much. You could start with “My favorite part was when…”

Thursday : Find a unfamiliar word in your reading that you didn’t know before. Write:

• New word: [write the word here]

• I think it means: [your guess]

• Sentence from the book: [copy the sentence]

• Real meaning: [what you found in the dictionary]
