Kyndall Robinson- One thing that makes a good teacher is being able to have patience. There are going to be a lot of days where the students might not be on their best behavior or not grasping the lesson as fast you want. As a teacher you have to be able to get them back on track them in an effective way.

You should be patient enough that your student can express their confusion while knowing they won't get yelled at or embarrassed.
*Adaptable- Teachers should be able to read the room academically and emotionally and adjust accordingly. For example if the energy in the classroom seems off they should be able to play music or do something that she knows will grab his/her students attention and get the ready to learn. It lets their students know that they are seen and they care about them and their emotions not just if they will pass the test.

Another important trait for a teacher to have is patience. In order to teach students you must know that they aren't going to know everything or understand it all the first time. It is important that your children feel welcomed and really valued when inside the classroom. Especially at the pre-school age, these children are still trying to make as many bonds that they can and that takes much understanding and care. The teachers who care the most about their students and show it get the best outcomes. Students are more willing to participate in class and try because they know there is someone that will help them because they are about their future success.

To practice diversity in the classroom is to be accepting to the children’s and their family beliefs such as religion, meal choices, etc. To practice to adopt and modify instructions is to make arrangements as needed to make it easier for the student to understand.

2. Another key quality of an effective teacher is communication. This is essential with both children and their parents. This helps build trust and can lead to more expression from that child. When communicating with children it is important to get down to that child's level and let them know you are here to listen to them, understand, and help anywhere you can. Parents also appreciate communication as it allows them to know what is going on within the classroom and with their child. It is important to notify the parents of both good and bad things, not jut bad things.

An example is if a students came to class unprepared one day and having a select place for lets say pencils the student will always know where they can get the pencil that they need. Another is having paperwork in one place like a note book and putting dividers in that way, we will know where that important document exactly is.
