자, 그런데 이 자전 덕분에 낮과 밤이 생기는 거예요. 지구가 자전할 때, 태양의 빛을 받는 쪽은 낮이 되고, 반대로 태양 빛을 받지 못하는 쪽은 밤이 돼요. 예를 들어, 여러분이 낮에 밖에 나가면 태양 빛이 쨍쨍하고, 밤에 밖에 나가면 어두워지죠? 그 이유는 지구가 자전하면서, 태양을 보고 있는 쪽은 밝고, 보지 않는 쪽은 어두워져서 밤이 되는 거예요.

Ahora, pero es por eso que se forman el día y la noche. Cuando la Tierra gira, el que recibe la luz del sol es de día, y el que no recibe la luz del sol, por el contrario, se convierte en de noche. Por ejemplo, si sales durante el día, el sol brilla, y si sales por la noche se oscurece, ¿verdad? La razón es que a medida que la Tierra gira, el lado que mira al sol es brillante y el que no lo ve se oscurece, convirtiéndose en la noche.
Así que la Tierra gira, alternando día y noche. ¡Cada rotación cambia de día y de noche, por lo que continuamos experimentando estas dos cosas durante el día!
