         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>*DNA Methylation:</strong> <mark>It is what you can call an "Off Switch". It has chemical tags that can turn off or even activate genes.</mark></p><p><strong>*Histone Modification: </strong><mark>This where Proteins are wrapped by DNA that can be tightened to stop the genes from being used and can be loosened to activate the genes. It is simply a way to control how the genes are being used.</mark></p>]]></description>

But it also involves scientific information in our choices of eating and also gives us the information of diseases like cancer, diabetes, and also heart disease. It falls a lot onto us and our choices of the amount we walk a day or exercise a day to the things we eat whether it's a fully balanced meal or eating out at a restaurant or fast food.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Here I will be giving information of 3 lifestyles the three being: Nutrition, Exercise, and how we sleep.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Nutrition:</strong> <mark>The way we eat is very important in Epigenetics, things like vegetables, fruits, and Omega-3's can actually create healthy gene expressions. </mark></p><p><br/></p><p><mark>While foods that contain High amounts of Fat and items with tons of sugar like energy drinks, candy, anything that contains sugar can lead to an increase in risks of diseases.</mark></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Exercise:</strong> <mark>Exercise plays an important role as it can help your genes like your Metabolism and inflammation genes whereas if you don't exercise as often they will decrease in how much they work.</mark></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Sleep:</strong> <mark>The same goes with sleep, if you are averaging a good amount of sleep, it can positively increase your immunity strength and also your brain health. While if you are not getting enough sleep daily, your immunity and brain health genes start to decrease in strength. </mark> </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Scientists have discovered many interesting things about epigenetics and here I will be listing a few discoveries made by scientists.</p><p><br/></p><p>1. Six months of exercise changed DNA methylation at tens of thousands of sites in fat cells, including diabetes related genes. </p><p>Discovered by<mark> "Tina Rönn"</mark></p><p>This means even with just daily exercise many people can have a reduce chance of getting diabetes.</p><p> </p><p>2. Years of endurance training altered the activity of over 1,000 genes linked to metabolism and disease prevention.</p><p>Discovered by "<mark>Mark Chapman"</mark></p><p>This could allow peoples metabolism work faster and allow people to be more healthier.</p><p><br/></p><p>3. Regular endurance training reprograms DNA methylation in human muscle, changing activity of 20,000+ genes.</p><p>Discovered by "<mark>Maléne E. Lindholm"</mark> </p><p>This could result in allowing us to use our muscles to their fullest capabilities.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Researching this Topic to me was very cool honestly because I didn't realize how much goes into our lifestyles that include epigenetics whether it's just working out daily or even the specifics of what we eat. Like everyone else I know that what we eat, and drink has negatives and positives, but I didn't know that they could affect our genes like metabolism and even the increases of getting a disease. Overall, I found this very fun and interesting, and it definitely gives me a new perspective on the everyday things that I do on a day to day basis.</p>]]></description>
