The project consists of challenging students to solve a case likely to face in their professional future, and of offering a methodology for solving it.
They are supposed to work in a company that wants to reduce the percentage of defective products till achieving a first-class value.
Teams of 3-4 students from the same location (school) conduct the same case until completion. The teamswork in an independent and competitive way..
Each team is paired to a team from the other location that provide informations needed for improving the simulated productive process.  The goal achivement must be appropriately proved by data.

Paired teams hold meetings by means of Skype. Every team lead alternatively the meeting, first giving information about the case to be solved by the other team, afterwards receiving information about the case they have to solve. 
Outside meetings, communication will be via email or collaborative ICT tools (Google Docs, Drive, …). 
One meeting is planned for each stage of the DMAIC roadmap.
The statements must be based on data. Teams must collect and analyze data using  statistical tools.
A closure meeting is planned in recognition of better tasks.
