I would like to use Padlet in my future classroom as a brainstorming tool for classroom project/group activities. In the case of big decision-making, creating a shared padlet that all students within a classroom can access, can enable sharing our ideas on topics and having debriefing discussions later. It can help us visualize the process of decision-making, and the importance of equally respecting and evaluating everyone's input.

I would like to use Mural to encourage journaling in my future students. I think journaling helps a lot with organization, emotional regulation, and even language/vocabulary skills. I would use Mural as a part of an individual assignment. One may keep notes on each chapter while reading a book, or on the fluctuation of emotions while watching a movie with a great plot, the changes they feel emotionally and physically during a workout, etc. As a future ESL teacher, this will promote writing skills in students by closely relating the topic and execution to each student.

Podcasts are increasingly prevalent in our society, and many members of younger generations listen to and watch them. I am a huge fan of collaborating with fellow coworker teachers; I love the idea of collaborating with a fellow ESL teacher in the same grade level as me to create fun podcasts for our students to introduce different modules (chapters) throughout the academic year.

Resource #4: Google Classrooms

Google Classroom is an LMS platform that is very intriguing. Elementary and secondary schools in Québec vastly use LMS platforms. I have experience with Moodle, MyCourses and Microsoft Teams and they were navigatable. To be honest, as a future ESL teacher I would love to implement Google Classroom instead. It replaces the paperback agenda system of Quebec schools, eliminates extra cost for parents, and is easily accessible for all without needing to figure out how to navigate new platforms and applications. It ensures that students have access to all resources provided to them at all times and the smooth progress of the course. While I would not allow for the LMS platform to replace teaching, I do believe it can facilitate organization and accessibility in teaching.
