2 types of filters:

Chemical-> contains many ingredients.

-Can change the energy from the sunscreen barrier away from the skin.

-mostly used by people who are elegant and wear makeup, as it doesn’t leave a white cast/mark.

Physical-> contains zinc oxide and or titanium dioxide.

-it leaves a very strong white mark and heavy on the skin, ‘acts like paint’

-it deflects the sun rays so that it doesn’t reach the skin, there’s no chemical change involved.
