She always wants to rush out of the classroom in a certain class, ignoring the teacher's careless. Then run into the subway station, although you have to take many different lines. After an hour and thirty-four minutes, she arrived at Victoria Harbour and was dizzy by the moist and salty sea breeze. She slowly sat on a wooden bench near the harbour, looking up at the palm leaves fluttering in the wind. The dark brown with some malnourished yellow curly hair danced in the wind on her shoulder. The sound of the dock of the passenger ship in the distance seemed to be the laughter of three or five groups of adults on the ship. She seemed to suddenly remember something, sat up straight, then stood up and ran in the direction of the wind. It was not until she was once again in the towering urban forest, which she couldn't breathe just by standing, that she slowed down because she couldn't hear the sound of the dock. Raise your hand to smooth out the messy hair and the tears on your face from the wind.

The Beauty of a Rainy Day in Hong Kong（free writing

There’s something enchanting about a rainy day in Hong Kong. While many might see rain as a nuisance, I find it brings a peaceful ambiance to the city. The sound of raindrops tapping against windows and the fresh scent of wet pavement create a soothing backdrop to daily life.

On a particularly rainy day last week, I decided to explore a few indoor attractions. The Hong Kong Museum of History was my first stop. As I wandered through the exhibits, I felt a sense of connection to the city’s rich past, made even more poignant by the dreary weather outside. Afterwards, I found a cozy café and sipped a hot cup of tea while watching the rain cascade down the window. This experience reminded me that sometimes, the gloomy weather can lead to moments of introspection and comfort.

The Dance of Falling Leaves（free writing

As autumn blankets the world in a tapestry of gold and crimson, I find myself captivated by the simple beauty of falling leaves. Each leaf, once vibrant on its branch, now drifts gracefully to the ground, surrendering to the inevitable cycle of life. Watching them swirl in the crisp air, I can’t help but draw a parallel to love—the way it ebbs and flows, transforms, and sometimes, how it must let go.

The first leaves to fall are often the brightest, their colors a celebration of life before they yield to the wind. Much like the early stages of love, when everything feels new and exhilarating. Hearts race, laughter echoes, and the world seems to shimmer with possibility. In those moments, love feels invincible, a kaleidoscope of emotions that dances through our souls. We are like the leaves, vibrant and full of life, caught up in the thrill of the present.

Yet, as the days grow shorter and the air turns cooler, the leaves begin their descent. Their journey to the ground is not one of defeat, but of transformation. They spiral and twirl, embracing the change with a grace that is almost poetic. This reminds me of how love, too, can evolve. The initial spark may fade, but it can give rise to deeper connections, a quiet understanding that binds two people together in a different, yet equally beautiful way.

However, not all leaves fall peacefully. Some are torn from their branches by fierce winds, tossed about in a chaotic dance before finding rest. This can mirror the tumultuous moments in love—arguments, misunderstandings, and the occasional storm that tests our bonds. Yet, just as the leaves ultimately find their place on the ground, love can also find its way back to stability, as long as both partners are willing to weather the storm together.

As I walk through the park, I see children laughing and playing in piles of leaves, their joy infectious. It strikes me that love, much like these fallen leaves, can bring warmth even as it changes form. Each leaf carries a history, a story of the tree from which it fell. Similarly, every relationship is built on shared memories, experiences that shape who we are and how we connect with others.

When winter arrives, the trees stand bare, their branches stark against the sky. In this seemingly desolate landscape, there’s a beauty in the stillness. It’s a reminder that love, even in its absence, leaves an imprint. The memories linger, much like the quiet whispers of love that echo in our hearts long after the initial spark has faded.

And as spring approaches, new leaves will emerge, fresh and green, signifying hope and renewal. Love, too, can be reborn. Just as the trees rejuvenate after a harsh winter, relationships can find new life through understanding, patience, and a willingness to grow together.

In the end, watching the leaves fall teaches me that love is not just about the moments of joy, but also about embracing change and finding beauty in transition. Each leaf carries a lesson, a reminder that love, in all its forms, is a journey worth taking—full of color, depth, and an ever-present whisper of the seasons yet to come.
