Young woman/teen working in lower class
18 years old
Works in coal mines
Sources:
Social Classes 2 and Women's status 3. I will also use social classes 3 and women's status 4.
Social classes source 2 shows the different basic rights that people in he lower classes did not have access to. It really gives the reader a perspective of the inequality and the wide gap between the social classes.
Women's Status 3 shows that women were treated quite unfairly, especially compared to men. They were paid much less than men, even if both genders were completing the same job.
Women's status 4 showcases the bad situations that women had to experience in the work place. Girls were preyed upon and mistreated.
Social Classes 3 describes in detail, the brutal and harsh conditions that the lower class had to withstand and live within.

14 year old girl, working in a coal mine.
I chose to do a coal mine because back in the Industrial Revolution working in coal mines were dangerous and much harsh then working in the factories. I wanted to show that children were forced to risk themselves to work in dangerous areas.
- I will be using sources 2,3,4 in Factory Systems, because it shows how much risk the children are at and how little they earn compared to how much they've worked. It will also help me to provide evidence.
- For the rest of the sources, I will research on trustable websites to get more specific information: Britannica.com, History.com, DAA Database
