The National Council of Negro Women advocates for the development of policies that specifically benefit black women. Their annual Black Women's Roundtable report discusses challenges and policy recommendations for black women in the areas of health, economics, political engagement, and criminal justice. They are currently filing a lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson for marketing their baby powder to Black women when Johnson & Johnson knew that their baby powder caused cancer.

The ( GOA ) Gun Owners of America interest groups defends the second amendment " right to bear arms " the GOA is sees firearm ownership as a freedom issue. I agree with the GOA and also disagree with them because people should have the right to own a gun for their safety however, I agree because sometimes people get to careless with guns and uses it for the wrong reasons.

The NAACP is a interest group that has a vision  is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights and there is no racial hatred or racial discrimination. One  of the main goals they accomplish are “Smith v. Allwright (1944), which found that states could not exclude Black voters from primaries.” There once was a time where people not of color would use physical force to make people of color to leave the ballot box and not vote.The NAACP is also one of the largest interest groups in America. When there is a problem in the system or someone I’m need the NAACP is most of the time on the front line.
