Executive team!

Last year, the executive team consisted of 2-3 people. It is now 5-6 people, and they are more readily available.

TSG Usage

Last year, TSG usage was nonexistent; now, folks are logging on daily, and the quality of observations has improved

Field Trips!

We successfully took preschool children on two group field trips (apple picking and the zoo), and our toddlers to the museum!

Enrollment

Last year we had an admissions director and this year we now use a software called Intellikids for tours and enrollment!

Consistent PD

Teaching teams received consistent professional development tailored to the success of their classrooms and teaching practices. Feedback was taken into consideration each time to inform topics for the next sessions.

Preschool classes

Last year, our preschool classrooms had only two teachers. Now that we have three teachers, we are seeing a lot more support for the whole classroom of children.

Curriculum

This time last year was a time where curriuclum was still very confusing. We now have a curriculum where the teachers for the most part are understaniding it and implementing it effectivley in their classrooms

TGS Usage!

We finally got to get our hands on board with TGS, for a while it was out in the air that we will get some training on TSG but somehow it always got pushed to the side. but now is we have our teacher logging observations on daily basic and that I think is a huge win for all of us here at RRDC.

Coaching

Last year we didn't have any coaching for directors, program specialist, or teachers. This year it has been very fun to see the coaching in effect and it being useful in ways that allows us to see what is falling through the cracks, what needs to be tightended up, and refelct on the good the bad and the ugly.

Parent and staff Townhalls

We do town hall meetings now so the whole team feels involved and heard, even parents. Before, it was like playing telephone, and now being able to get to the source is becoming more helpful, and knowing what's next, what's happening, and the parents enjoy it as well.

Curriculum and TSG

Last year, this two things were very new to all of us, specially for me being new to the Program Specialist role. I felt confused at times and didn't know how to answer teachers questions and concerns around these topics. Now, there is so many different resources for me and them to go back to and find answers. Things are more broken down and simplified to understand.

Hands On Executive Team

Last year the executive team was small and almost unreachable. This year its been nice to know that we have an executive team that we can call when needed and can provide support as needed.

HR Team

Last year we had somewhat of an HR team - if thats what it can be called. This year we have an effective HR Team that helps a lot with grievences, payroll confusion for staff and is very good at providing professional suggestions and support with teaching teams or indivual staff members

Changes Within RRDC Since Last Year

There has been a substantial amount of growth since last year within RRDC. Coming in as a new employee last June, I realized there was not much structure or consistency from the Admin team all the way down to the staff members & how centers were being run. A strong & new admin team was then created, which started to put a lot of things in place. Curriculum planning, TSG, Coachings, communication, observations/evaluations, & parent engagement events just to name a few examples of things we were not doing properly & are now doing. There is now structure, consistency, & accountability within the our RRDC company. I believe RRDC is now being run properly & it is super helpful for me as a director. I love that I actually have the support that I need here from my Admin & my co-peers! The company has really turned itself around & I am glad to be a part of the RRDC team! :)

Reachable Executive Team

Last year i was still confused who the executive team was and who had what role. Now i love to see the great team you all are. I love how all of you are just a phone call away! No matter where you are you always answer my calls. You are always so helpful and ready to give me resources!

101 coaching

We have time to scedule time to ask questions and receive any help we need towards our job. Last year we had to reach out consistently where now we come prepared to our coaching and receive the help we need in one sitting, with being reviewed and followed up on as needed.

Toddler Training

Last year the toddler teams where a bit confused on how to manage their classroom, how to teach their children and implement ideas. With the toddler training the teachers have had so much growth in classroom management, activities, and how to properly educate the age groups they teach

I was not here last year however from February to now I will say we have a solid team and I love to support and help I receive from both the admin and my director. I love that me and my co peers are always ready to help and support each whenever we can.

We have an excellent director, a very good person, very kind, but we need more help during our breaks. Regarding the curriculum, they should not be constantly changing it and maintain only one because that confuses our minds too much. I think there are too many evaluations. Each child, each week, should have one evaluation per week for a child.

Finally we got an amazing program specialist who is very enthusiastic and intelligent fast in helping us. Also she gets along with the director. Both are doing a great job.

Christina who came on board and finally hear from somebody that the dimension s are connected and to have in our work environment that kind of professional knowledgeable person it’s amazing.

Curriculum coordinator makes it easier for us to do curriculum by giving us everything done, it’s like copying and paste.

TSG is finally making sense, specially targeting one objective per day.

Seems to me that the people in charge ( executive team) of the company are very supportive towards families and staff.

Our Program Specialist* is highly skilled and always ready to offer guidance, ensuring our program run smoothly. We have a kind and approachable director who values and supports the staff. The executive team works hard to build strong relationships with both staff and families, creating a positive atmosphere where everyone feels respected and appreciated. The van is also a positive change for the company because that way we won’t lose families who live far away. Also TSG is better this year. Last year we didn’t understand how to do it or we were doing it incorrectly. This year TSG is broken down and organized for us to follow.
