Animal testing is a very cruel and nonhumane towards animals and often results in the animal dying or being put down. Products are tested on animals for several reasons, such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and materials. In one year more than 100 million animals are tragically killed, often so one person can wear make up for a day, however none of the major brands are doing anything to help stop this.

On the Mac makeup website they have written “M·A·C does not test on animals. We do not own any animal testing facilities and we never ask others to test on animals for us. M·A·C has never tested on animals and we continue to be a leader in the movement to end animal testing globally.
