The character is usually a person in a novel or other forms of media. There are different types of character such as: flat, a character with one trait. Round, a complex character who faces internal conflicts. Static, a character that doesn't change and stays the same. Dynamic, a character who sees changes in their personality over time. Protagonist, the main character of the story. Antagonist, the main conflict of the story and, finally the foil. A character who works in contrast to another character, usually the protagonist.

The action rises when we learn how everyone is equal and when we learn who the character Harrison Bergeron is; the son of George. Finally, the rising action ends and turns into the climax when Harrison himself comes into the story and attempts to create an uprising against the government. The action begins to fall when Harrison is murdered via a shotgun blast. The stories concludes with George and his wife forgetting what they witnessed.

The theme tend to be a moral learned from the story or event. Even songs have a theme. Take a song like "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by The Smashing Pumpkins on the album Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, in the song the chorus states "despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." I think this in forces the idea that despite all the rage against any thing, there is nothing society can do but protest.

I think the best example of a well written character is Asuka Langley from Neon Genesis Evangelion, she is introduced as a narcissist who seems to only care for herself. However, as the show progresses we slowly learn that she has her own slew of issues, such as a complete depression which fuels her fake narcissism, loneliness which makes her cling to the main character, a need for constant approval and parental figure issues which stem from Asuka's mother forgetting who her own daughter was and, believing a doll to be her daughter instead. She then found her mother post suicide. We learn she has a false send of narcissism because that is the only thing keeping her going. Asuka is an example of a round and dynamic character because, her character progressively changes, while still retaining her false sense of narcissism. She also faces constant internal conflicts and is a foil to the protagonist who lacks self esteem and self worth, whereas Asuka has a high sense of self worth.

(Pictured: Rather than showing her mother hanging, they used the doll instead of a corpse)

The idea of setting someone up for failure is dramatic irony, you know full well that they're going to fail, but they don't. It's like working to learn a new language and then when you think you're at a good level, someone who speaks it fluently tells you that you are in fact at a grade one level. You think you're doing good, but they know you aren't, haha...

With the plot chart that we learned in class, I can visualize how to write a story, which I like doing. I've improved a skill that I like to use. Before, my stories were a jumbled mess of ideas but, I can sort those ideas into a thought out sequence with a cohesive plot because, I know for a fact my stories have been jumbles for a long time.

In the last few weeks, I learned that there are different types of third person point of views that are different. Saying "third person" is a broad statement and could mean anything.

Sociology, psychiatry and all that has interested me for a long time and continues to intrigue me as a stupid hobby. Being able to pick apart the personality and problems.

Take something as simple as two hedgehogs. Often, psychiatrist and psychologists alike use it as a symbol for human intimacy. Hedgehogs want to get close to each other for warmth, unfortunately, doing so will only hurt them. This is used to show the intimacy of humans by saying we often fear becoming to close to people because we fear they will hurt us or, we will hurt them.

One of their core beliefs is that only the strong will rise above the weak and claim victory. Even with that being a core belief, they still lost the war.

However, his father was convicted because he broke those ideals and ended up attacking a reserve guard.
