For taking pictures, but it helped me in a different way. I saw the picture opportunities in the room I saw in as opportunities of real life. Turning my thoughts inside out and viewing them as images helped me realise the better choices. Other than that, I tried to wait for the “golden hour” as my father calls it. That point during the day where the sun turns into golden light, and it’s a warm, dimming shade. The setting sun. Unfortunately, my windows of my house aren’t exactly in the direction of the sun. Like I have a bunch of plants surrounding the windows at the back of the house, and a wall of something that looks like bamboo or something at the front. But, I did notice another time in the day. In the afternoon, the light turns a cool blue colour. For me, the soft gold light in the morning and (usually 7:45 am) and cool blue light in the afternoon (3 pm). Other than that, taking a lot of photos taught me to embrace every moment, every passing object, things, moment. A happening, some would call it. It will either be too light or too dark. One thing that I noticed is how fortunate I am to be living in such a beautiful country. You can see in not only mine but others pictures how nice India is. I started to take a lot more portraits. I never used to really but then when I went to Ranthambore I became more comfortable with asking people for a picture.
