When I first watched her audition, it was very moving and touching. During this, she sang an original song she wrote about the hardships and struggles she has faced while growing up. From all these difficulties, she expresses how it has made her the person she is today. In third grade I was getting sick a lot and found out that I had to stop eating gluten. At first it was challenging to figure out what I could eat, but, since I was pretty little, that mostly fell to my parents. Now, I have to read almost every single food label. Through this experience, I have become more mindful of the food I eat, which has positively impacted my health. One of the most difficult hardships in my life has been more recently in dealing with my dad's health issues. He has been a relatively healthy person but had an accident where he hit his head on concrete, and as a result, he has been struggling with a variety of different issues related to this.
