Balanced force is gravity and the chair/athlete. So therefor the athlete remains on the ground. Unbalanced force is between the ball and the force of the racket. The rackets force is greater than the ball therefor the ball will return to the other side of the court. This racket force comes from the athletes shoulder, back and arm muscles such as the deltoid, bicpes, triceps, latimus dorsi and trapezius. However a balanced force is within the racket and the athletes hand. In order for the athlete to hold the racket the force has to be balanced. In picture 1 the athlete will follow through in the same direction of the force executed through the racket. This will create more force as it is a rotation of the whole body so the force from the racket will be a lot heavier making the ball travel at a faster speed.
