First, from the perspective of time, they do not have enough time to prepare speeches, which may preempt their time in professional courses if it is mandatory. I mean not all students are good at public speaking, if they are introverted it may need a long time to prepare and build confidence which waste a lot of energy. At the same time, even if students have a good speaking foundation, they can't make a good public speaking immediately, so they also need some time to prepare. While the students in university may be very busy, the additional course will consuming  students’ s time and increasing students’ s pressure. If the time of their specialized courses is crowded out, which will bring losses to students

To begin with, speaking class is a good way for improving students speaking ability. There is no denying, a good speaker can communicate with other easily, speaking allow students to train to easy convey what is your want to say. No one what’s to make friends with a man who is not a good at speaking. In the long run, you can becoming good speaker, and enhance your social circle. Take my little brother as an example. When he was a child, he was very introverted, which cause a lot of teacher and friends had a trouble to understanding what he want to say, so he almost few friends. But after he attend speaking class, he become outgoing, other people more willing to make friends with him, as a result, his speaking ability and social circle.are strength. All in all, advantage of attend public speaking class far outweigh the disadvantage.

Furthermore, speaking class can prepare them for their later careers. In the future, students need to apply for jobs in the company, giving a speech in front of a large number of people in the school can improve their confidence, not to mention during the interview. Take my brother as an example. When he speech in front of a lot people, he get nervous and can’t speak smooth word. After speak class practice, he could communicate smoothly when he interview. 

 

  First, taking public speaking class can benefit them then they do team work or organize a group as a leader. The reason is that the class teach students the basic knowledge of public speaking, such as what words do students say, and how to speak fluently without stuttered, so the public speaking class can improve students’ logical, because students need to plan and present words carefully. Besides, the public speaking class can also improve students’ writing skill. Before students do public presentation, they need to write a paper with the outline of the speech such as topic, main idea and thesis, which is a good habit for students to write an essay. Third, it is a great way for students to become more confident. Some students are shy, they haven’t enough courage to speak to each other, much less public speaking. Some of them eager to talk with other, so it is necessary to take public speaking class. With this class, they will learn how to be confident, they will exercise their confidence.

First and Foremost, not everyone really needs a public speaking class. Public speaking is an ability for the worker that require to manifest their plan or idea to colleagues and it’s a pretty well way for leader to manage the company. But it’s not obligate for some students. If the student will be a scientific researcher in the future, he won’t exert his public speaking skills to his research and it consume the student’s time, so it’s unnecessary for entire students in the university.

Second, spending time in public speaking class may affect our learning in our major curriculum. As we know, a great amount of students takes four or five subjects per semester. This will be a cause that student is busy at their schooldays.If the university adds another subject to every students, it will impact their study and result a lower GPA. Maybe the student will acquire more knowledge from  taking the added class, but it will occupy the time that the student would use to learn other knowledge.
