We were taught abt how to cross hybridtoze two different orchids so that we can obtain a new kind of orchid with certain characteristics from its parents’ genes. For example, the yellow orchid at the top (den goldmines) has beautiful flowers with twisted paddlesbut doesn’t have a strong stem, thus we can hybridze it with the yellow orchid below which has a strong stem to got a new orchid with both strong stem and nice flowers.
