As the Floorball B-division captain of the school and a student athlete, this trip would be beneficial not only for myself, but also contributing to the floorball team's overall performance. As the National School Games (NSG) are coming up, having a good leader is very crucial for the team when chasing success. Not only can this overseas trip hone my leadership , teamwork and communication skills from working with many people of different backgrounds, it can also help sharpen up my floorball skills due to the opportunity to be able to practice with professionals and top-notch athletes in a sports academy. Additionally, being given the opportunity to host sport activities for aspiring young athletes at a local school is something I find very captivating as I can support and give advice to the children with dreams of being an athlete in the future. I subsequently get better over a week and is able to play it decently in 2 weeks. For example this year, I am learning frisbee for my physical education lessons and I got the hang of it in just a few days from learning and watching others play from the side. There will definetly be days where i feel tired and would want to give up over there.
